I enjoyed listening to the dialogue in filipino as it felt more correct and natural given the subject of the series. Liza was okay, i also feel that it was how the character really talked as it was quite similar with the filipino dub too. Regarding the series, I watched it in filipino for the first few episodes, then switched to english, then finished back to filipino. It won't bode well and works against hope towards our brethren.

Poor people and the middle class supporting a system that was fundamentally designed to work against their interestĭon't generalize in this aspect. The problem is that those that benefit under capitalism have successfully coopted most people under its cause. The nordic model simply have the right conditions to flourish, not that the system by itself is good.īut that does not mean communist movements does not have genuine concerns, like I have mentioned. and no, almost everyone is forecasting the end of this system. Since we have seen models that actually work like such in nordic countries - capitalistic countries with strong social safety nets. Have you read any detailed history or basis of the theories under Socialism? Sounds like you never had. Communist regimes always had to resort to being authoritarian and that's unnecessary (putting it lightly) The OG version is about farmers getting radicalized and fighting thr Fascist government People watching Money Heist and singing Bella Ciao, but the origins of the song was lost to them. I think the communist movements here is a symptom of a larger underlying issue. I don't think there's anything necessarily anything wrong with Communism as a concept, it just hasn't been successfully implemented yet. In the Philippines, we have a literal guerilla communist group, so people's concerns about it are much more based in reality. Dito, kahit activist/peasant leader lang, pinapatay, at tuwang tuwa pa kapwang pinoy.įirst of all, the US's motivation to call out Communism was a measure to counter Soviet propaganda, and wasn't really borne out of anything real as far as domestic issues are concerned.

Redtagging here in the PH is even worse than the US's anticommie attitude nowadays. I want there to be a movement actually considering the difference between lower and upper classes economically. Yeah, socialism hasn't really hit the Philippines like it has in Vietnam. They're all neolibs because that's what Filipinos are used to.
